What is TSapien?

A YouTube channel and a shared space for questions about human life: why we suffer, why we divide ourselves, and what a truly wise species might look like. It isn't a religion, an ideology or a set of rules.

What does the name mean?

We named ourselves Homo sapiens, the wise human. TSapien hints at who we could become: the tech-savvy wise human. Not slaves to technology, but wise users of it.

Who is behind TSapien?

The channel was started by one person, but TSapien isn't one person's idea of a better world. There's no leader here and no one to follow. Every voice, including the one behind the channel, is a fellow traveller.

Is TSapien political or religious?

No. There's no ideology and no side to pick. Every idea is open to question, including the ones shared here.

Why are no thinkers or experts quoted?

So that nothing is accepted because of who said it. The aim is to look closely, test ideas in our own lives and see for ourselves.

How often are new videos published?

One new video each week, with short clips in between. Each series runs six parts, with a short pause between series for episodes shaped by viewers' questions.

How can anyone take part?

Through The Collective. The question form opens very soon, with no sign-up and no email address needed. Comments on YouTube are open too.

Will a question sent in be published?

Only with permission, and only once it has a reply. A name is shown only if one is given; otherwise it appears as anonymous.

Is there a forum?

Not yet. As the conversation grows, The Collective will open a space for longer discussions.

Does TSapien cost anything?

No. The videos and the website are free.
